Early Childhood: Using a variety of evidence based approaches, working with children as young as 3 years through play therapy, trust-based relational intervention, art therapy, attachment based therapy, and more.
Adoption Competent Certified (Rutgers): Helping adoptive families work on the psychology of adoption, conceptualizing crisis intervention, the life cycle experience in adoption of older children, attachment based parenting approaches, family focused therapy for post institutionalized adoptions, and learning strategies for managing behaviors in adoptive families.
Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator: Circle of Security is a video-based, reflective course that helps parents explore strengths and challenges to parenting to increase security in their children. Circle of security focuses on visuals to help parents better identify needs of their children resulting in children having positive self-esteem, decreased negative behaviors, independence, positive healthy relationships and more. Circle of Security can be completed in 8-12 sessions face to face, or over zoom.
Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF- CBT): An evidence-based treatment approach shown to help children, adolescents, and their parents (or other caregivers) overcome trauma-related difficulties, TF-CBT also helps parents deal with distressing emotions involved in the trauma of their children.
