THERAPY FOR WOMEN IN SARASOTA, FLORIDA
You don’t have to navigate your next chapter alone.
Evidence-based therapy for women navigating anxiety, trauma, relationships, and motherhood.
If this feels familiar, you’re probably in the right place.
-
You replay conversations, question your decisions, and think through every possible outcome. Even when things seem okay, you find yourself looking for what you might have missed. Being prepared has become exhausting, and reassurance never seems to last. You want more room to enjoy your life without questioning every step.
-
You know you tend to shut down, overthink, or put everyone else first. You may even understand where those responses began. But when you feel hurt or overwhelmed, you find yourself responding in familiar ways. Therapy offers space to understand those moments and practice responses that reflect what you need now.
-
There may be something specific you want to work through, or you may be noticing how earlier relationships shaped your expectations. Asking for help feels uncomfortable. Making a mistake feels personal. Letting someone know you takes effort. You do not need to compare your experiences with anyone else’s to explore their impact.
-
You say yes before checking whether you have the energy. You hold back a concern because you do not want to disappoint someone. Or you pull away when closeness begins to feel uncertain. You want connection, but you also want room to express your needs, set boundaries, and feel heard within your relationships.
-
You may love your baby and still miss parts of your life before becoming a mother. Worry, guilt, loneliness, or changes in your relationship may be taking up more space than you anticipated. Perhaps pregnancy, birth, or postpartum unfolded differently from what you hoped. There is room to talk about the full experience, including the parts you have struggled to say out loud.
-
A relationship has changed, a familiar role no longer fits, or life looks different from what you imagined. You may feel pulled between what others expect and what you want for yourself. We can begin with what is changing and explore what matters to you as you move forward.

MEET MADISON
Hi, I’m Madison Ahles, LCSW
I’m a therapist based in Sarasota, Florida, supporting women through anxiety, trauma, relationships, motherhood, and life’s transitions.
What I value most about this work is getting to know you beyond the concern that brings you here: your history, your relationships, what matters to you, and what you hope might be different.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I bring curiosity about your story and respect for the ways you have learned to navigate difficult experiences. Together, we can connect understanding with meaningful change in your everyday life.
HOW I CAN SUPPORT YOU
Therapy for the seasons of life
Space to process difficult experiences and understand how they affect you today. Work toward feeling more grounded in the present and more able to choose what comes next.
Trauma Therapy
Anxiety & Self-Esteem
Support for overthinking, perfectionism, and self-doubt so you can begin making decisions with more trust in yourself.
Support through pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional changes of motherhood. Make room for your experience, your identity, and your changing relationships.
Perinatal & Postpartum Therapy
Individual therapy to explore people-pleasing, trust, communication, and boundaries. Build more room for your needs within the relationships that matter to you.
Relationships & Attachment
My Therapy Approach
My work is primarily psychodynamic. Together, we explore how earlier experiences and relationships may influence your emotions, expectations, and responses today.
We also consider what you want to do differently now. That might mean expressing a need, setting a boundary, approaching uncertainty, or staying present during a difficult conversation.
Depending on your needs, I may draw from:
Attachment-Based Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Emotionally Focused Therapy
Internal Family Systems/ Parts Work
Trauma-Focused Approaches
Person-Centered Therapy
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
You do not need to choose a method before beginning.
We will shape the work around your experiences, goals, and pace.
